Nidec Copal Electronics ASE subminiature slide switches are very unique in the switch market as they are washable. Slide switches are not conducive to washing processes due to their sliding actuation. The ASE switches have a silicon-rubber boot that covers the actuator. After the washing and cleaning process the boots can be easily removed from the switches.

The Nidec Copal Electronics ASE series is used in such industries as medical equipment, instrumentation and measuring devices, music, communication, security, and transportation.

The ASE series is available in two circuit options: ON-ON and ON-OFF-ON. They have straight PC terminal and right angle terminal options. ASE products are UL recognized.
