TDK's MHQ0402PSA series, multilayer inductors are designed with extremely compact dimensions of 0.4 mm x 0.2 mm x 0.2 mm with a high-Q factor of 21 at 1 GHz. Thanks to their miniature size and high Q, the MHQ0402PSA series inductors are suitable for RF applications in smart phones, tablets, and other mobile devices. The high-Q factor was achieved using TDK’s proprietary dielectric materials technology combined with an optimized coil pattern and an internal electrode cross-section design with a high aspect ratio. The high Q of 21 at an inductance of 0.3 nH of the MHQ0402PSA series is an improvement of over 30% compared TDK’s existing MLG0402Q series.
