Micro/Mini, LIN, RGB Slave Controller For Up To Fo

The Melexis MLX81106/7/8/9, LIN RGB slave controller provides a single-chip solution for driving up to four LEDs (RGB+1) via constant current sources in automotive ambient lighting applications. Every output can be programmed to a maximum current of 30 mA through the built-in Flash memory.

The combination of physical layer LIN transceiver and LIN protocol controller in combination with easy-to-configure switch inputs and PWM outputs make it possible to develop, in a short timeframe, simple but powerful and cheap switch slave nodes for LIN bus systems.

Each MLX81106/7/8/9 has a 16-bit RISC MCU with 24 K to 32 K of user Flash, 1 K of RAM, and up to 384 Byte of EEPPOM with ECC. The MLX81106/8 support four I/Os, whereas the MLX81107/9 support twelve I/Os. There are four programmable, constant-current, high-voltage-capable I/Os and four times 16-bit PMS outputs. All parts are SAE J2602 automobile certified with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
