i-Clamp Tamper-Proof Insulation Displacement (IDC)

Keystone's UL listed i-Clamp will pierce the insulation and make a reliable contact in one step. Electrical contact is no longer dependent on the expertise of the wiring installer. The connector is permanent and cannot be tampered with. Designed to withstand shock and vibration, these connectors have a copper contact housed inside a durable, translucent polycarbonate, which aids in the visual inspection of the connections. The voltage rating is up to 277 VAC. Designed for use with 10 AWG to 22 AWG insulated wires, the i-Clamp is available in three styles to accommodate all common wire connectivity configurations.

T-Series: The T-series connectors will be used when branching off of a common wire run is wanted. It is ideal for wiring several fixtures in parallel (such as lighting). The main line will remain as one length of wire, eliminating junctions at every fixture. The connector hinges open to allow the wire to be run through the connector, without cutting or stripping the insulation. Quick-and-easy connections are made in seconds.  No tape or wire nuts required. Conductivity is assured for the entire run, since the main line remains uncut. i-Clamp T-Series Connectors - Installation Instructions

Two-Way Series: The two-way series connectors have a unique dual-channel feature which allows pre-assembly of the connector onto a component or fixture. One channel of the i-Clamp can be permanently added to the wiring of the component so that it cannot get lost in the mounting process. The second channel of the connecter is unused until the component is mounted. Once the component is mounted, the wiring can be completed, by simply attaching the wiring to the pre-installed i-Clamp. i-Clamp Two-Way Series Connectors - Installation Instructions

One-Way Series: The one-way series connectors will be used for splicing several lines together. The connector eliminates bulky twisted wire splices and the need for wire nuts and electrical tape. The connection can be inspected because the connector is made from translucent polycarbonate. Junction boxes have a clean appearance, not crowded with bulky twisted wire splices which are impossible to visually inspect. i-Clamp One-Way Series Connectors - Installation Instructions
