Low Power Discrete Semiconductors for the Internet

To keep up with fast-to-market products, it is important for components in the IoT platform to be easy-to-design and readily available. Toshiba offers a wide variety of discrete components ideal for one's next small form-factor project, emphasizing industry-leading performance and low power consumption.

LDO: When running off of a coin cell or lithium-ion battery, device runtime is paramount. Toshiba's low quiescent TCR3UGxx LDO can provide the 1.2 V/1.8 V/2.5 V rail needed with minimal quiescent current (less than 0.4 µA typical) and with 1% voltage accuracy. PSRR, noise, and load transient are also excellent.

Load Switch IC: Integrated load switch ICs such as TCK107AG can provide simple power switches with minimal quiescent current (110 µA typical) and provide logic level control to the battery power. Toshiba also makes simple Nch and Pch MOSFETs for simple pull-up or pull-down applications

ESD Protection: ESD damage is a common cause of returns and un-diagnosable system issues. Toshiba ESD diodes provide industry-leading protection and are suitable for whatever exposed contact points there may be, whether its be a power rail, push button, USB port, or an RF Antenna.

Magnetic Sensor: Hall-effect sensors provide on/off signal in presence of magnets, for ease of sensing foreign objects or on/close status.
