Bourns announces the model PVG3 series 3 mm SMD sealed type single-turn trimming potentiometer. This model comes in two different pin styles, J-hook (model PVG3A) and gull-wing (model PVG3G). This series is RoHS-compliant and can operate from -55°C to 125°C. It has a power rating of 0.25 W at 70°C. The rotational life for this trimmer is specified at 50 cycles. The model PVG3 series is a 3 mm SMD trimmer. Models PVG3A and PVG3G are sealed and are designed to have high heat resistance performance for high temperature peak reflow soldering which protects the product during the manufacturing process. These features make the trimmer products well suited for small sensors, printers/copiers, optical transceiver modules, and compact power supplies.
