Eval-ADICUP360, Arduino™ and XBee® Shields

Analog Devices offers the EVAL-ADICUP360 which is an Arduino® and PMOD® compatible form factor development board. This board uses the ADuCM360 ARM® Cortex®-M3 with an integrated dual 24-bit sigma delta (Σ-Δ) converter on the processor. The platform contains many hardware and software example projects to make it easier for customers to prototype and create systems and solutions using the complete ecosystem provided.

Arduino™ is an open-source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software. It is intended for artists, designers, hobbyists, and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments. They have a line of Arduino shields specifically designed to bridge the world of Arduino and the wireless world of XBee’s protocols of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular, and other RF protocols. The A0000064 and A0000065 provide headers for XBee through-hole boards. The A000065 also supports micro SD cards.

Digi International has wide variety of products for today’s Internet of Things (IoT) world. Their XBee® form factor comes in two hardware footprints and wide range of RF standards/protocols such as ZigBee®, 802.15.4, DigiMesh® 2.4GHz, Wi-Fi, cellular, and 865, 868, and 900MHz especially for IoT world. XBee can do wireless topologies of mesh, point-to-point and point-to-multipoint. Whether it is simple wireless sensors and remote actuators or cordless joysticks, streetlight management, precision agriculture, or smart-energy management for businesses and residences, XBee is an attractive and easy way to bring wireless connectivity to designs.
