CYALKIT-E04 S6AE102A and S6AE103A Evaluation Kit

With the CYALIT-E04 S6AE102A and S6AE103A EVK, Cypress is enabling innovative solar IoT solutions. This platform implements Cypress’ energy harvesting solutions to allow for development of battery-free applications. Included within this kit are the S6AE102A Energy Harvesting PMIC board, the S6AE103A Energy Harvesting PMIC board, and a sensor board along with a solar module, wires, and a battery for testing different configurations. This kit includes everything needed for engineers to start development right away, and can also be paired with CY8CKIT-042-BLE Bluetooth Low Energy Pioneer Kit to demonstrate BLE applications drawing power from an energy harvesting device – a perfect use-case for solar IoT.

The CYALKIT-E04 S6AE102A and S6AE103A EVK allows for fast time to market for products leveraging Cypress’ ultra-low-power energy harvesting S6AE102A and S6AE103A PMICs. This evaluation kit consists of three independent boards: the S6AE102A board, S6AE103A board, and sensor board. The wireless sensor networks of tomorrow require either extended battery life or battery-less capabilities, and this kit supports this future need. The sensor board included in CYALKIT-E04, when connected to the S6AE102A/S6AE103A board can evaluate battery-free magnetic door sensor and ambient light sensor operations as well.
