HMC8500 GaN Power Amplifier

ADI’s HMC8500 is a gallium nitride (GaN), broadband power amplifier with a bandwidth of 0.01 GHz to 2.8 GHz, and a ±1.0 dB typical gain flatness. This amplifier requires 28 V at 100 mA and will produce up to 10 W. The HMC8500 is ideal for wireless infrastructure, radars, public mobile radios, and general-purpose amplification where continuous wave (CW) is needed. The HMC8500 amplifier has a temperature operational range of -40°C to +85°C and comes in a small 5 x 5 LFCSP package.
