The S15 surface temperature sensor from VersaSense detects the temperature of a surface it is attached to using a Type K thermocouple.  Peripherals are self-identifying sensors and actuators that connect to wireless devices to provide plug-and-play sensing and control.

The software automatically installs and configures all drivers, eliminating the cost and complexity of deploying an IoT network. Note: only one peripheral of each type may be connected to a wireless device. The surface temperature sensor supports temperature sensing of objects with large temperature ranges.
