ADI’s AD7400 and AD7401 are sigma-delta modulators that use iCoupler technology for isolation purposes. This modulator takes an analog input and converts it into a high speed, 1-bit serial output with data rates as high as 20 MHz. The AD7400 and AD7401 are second order modulators with 16-bits of no missing codes. The AD7400 has an internal 10 MHz clock rate. The device can use either a 3 V or 5 V supply, comes a 16-pin SOIC package, and has a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C/125°C. The AD7400 and AD7401 are ideal for AC motor controls, avionics, and unmanned systems/drones.
