The MIKROE-2046 Wi-Fi 7 click from MikroElektronika features the ATWINC1510-MR210PB IEEE 802.11 b/g/n module. This click board is designed to run on a 3.3 V power supply. It communicates with the target microcontroller over serial peripheral interface (SPI) interface, with additional functionality provided by the following pins on the mikroBUS™ line: PWM, INT, and RST.
Microchip’s ATWINC1510 modules are a low-power consumption 802.11 b/g/n module which is specifically optimized for low-power IoT applications. The WINC1500 features a fully integrated power amplifier, LNA, switch, and power management. The WINC1500 provides internal Flash memory as well as multiple peripheral interfaces including UART and SPI. The integrated Cortus APS3 32-bit processor performs many of the MAC functions, including, but not limited to, association, authentication, power management, security key management, and MSDU aggregation/deaggregation. In addition, the processor provides flexibility for various modes of operation, such as STA and AP modes.
