XBee SX 868 MHz 25 mW Transceiver Modules

Digi International's XBee SX 868 series of radio frequency (RF) modules operates in the 863 MHz to 870 MHz frequency ranges, making this part the ideal replacement for Digi's legacy XBee 868LP series. The module uses Silicon Labs' EFM32LG230F 256 ARM® Cortex™-M3 microprocessor and Analog Devices' ADF7023 transceiver. The sleep current is an ultra-low 1.8 µA, the receive current on these modules is a low 40 mA, and the transmitting current is at 55 mA. The XBee SX 868 series is available in two module options as well as a development kit. The XB8X-DMUS-001 comes with a U.FL connector whereas the XB8X-DMRS-001 comes with an RF pad. The development kit is part number XK8X-DMS-0. The modules come with 128-bit AES encryption for security and both are CE and RED for use in Europe/ EMEA and certified for faster design implementation. Digi's XBee SX 868 series is ideal for repeater, point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, DigiMesh®, and peer-to-peer networking topologies used in the Internet of things (IoT) world of today.
