Broadcom's ACPL-31JT and ACPL-32JT are automotive grade 2.5 A automotive R2Coupler® smart gate drive optocouplers. The ACPL-31JT features fast propagation delay with excellent timing skew performance while the ACPL-32JT features integrated flyback controller for isolated DC-DC converter, IGBT desaturation (desat) sensing with fault feedback, undervoltage lockout (UVLO) with soft-shutdown, and fault feedback and active Miller current clamping. The ACPL-31JT and ACPL-32JT are designed for driving MOSFETs used in AC-DC and DC-DC converters of electric vehicle (EV), hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) applications.

These devices satisfy automotive AEC-Q100 semiconductor requirements. Broadcom R2Coupler isolation products provide the reinforced insulation and reliability needed for critical automotive and high temperature industrial applications.

Broadcom's ACFL-5211T and ACFL-6211T are automotive grade dual-channel optocoupler devices designed for bidirectional digital communications. The devices have two optocoupler channels internally aligned 180 degrees of each other, providing optimum chip pin-out configuration for bidirectional Tx/Rx data communication design and board layout. The two channels are electrically independent and galvanically isolated, providing an ideal isolated bidirectional power system communication interface.

These devices are optimized for low power systems supporting data rates up to 1 MBd (ACFL-5211T) and 15 MBd (ACFL-6211T), and packaged in a compact SSO-12 package comparable to the SSO-8 footprint.

R2Coupler isolation products provide the reinforced insulation and reliability needed for critical automotive and high temperature industrial applications.
