SG-9101 Series Crystal Oscillators

Epson's SG-9101 series of programmable crystal oscillators feature programmable spread spectrum properties to help reduce or minimize EMI/EMC. They provide very short production or prototype lead times from a few samples to mass production quantities. The SG-9101 series allows customization of spread spectrum properties, such as modulation profile, modulation frequency, spread percentage, etc., to help minimize EMI/EMC for very sensitive applications. This series consumes less than 2.9 mA typical and operates from 1.8 V to 3.3 V power supplies. The SG-9101 series operates with a wide temperature range from -40°C to +105°C, which is ideal for harsh industrial environments.

With Epson’s fractional-N PLL technology, SG-9101 allows any frequency to be programmed, from 0.67 MHz to 170 MHz down to 1 ppm resolution, over the temperature ranges of -40°C to +85°C or -40°C to +105°C.
