TDK's VLS‐EX‐CA series power inductors are magnetically shielded, wire‐wound inductors with a ferrite core. The core material of the VLS‐EX‐CA series has been optimized, resulting in a higher rated current specification and lower R_DC. This series has a high magnetic shield construction, which is achieved through the use of ferrite magnetic material and is compatible with high‐density mounting. VLS‐EX‐CA inductors are designed for use in car navigation systems, car stereo, and other car accessory applications. They are not available for use related to driving, curving, stopping, and other safety applications.
