Low-Temperature Indium Solder Wire

Chip Quik’s line of indium solder wire offers three different indium alloys. These alloys include In100 (100% Indium), In97/Ag3 (97% Indium with 3% Silver), and In52/Sn48 (52% Indium, 48% Tin). In100 which is pure indium and can be used for bonding to glass, ceramic, and quartz. It is commonly used for low-temperature soldering and hermetic sealing and has a melting point of 1+57°C (+315°F). In97/Ag3 is an indium alloy with added silver to increase strength. It is commonly used for low temperature soldering with a melting point of +143°C (+289°F). In52/Sn48 is an indium alloy with added tin and a very low melting point. This eutectic alloy achieves a melting point at only +118°C (+244°F) and is excellent when working with very heat sensitive components that require low soldering temperatures.

All three indium alloys come spooled and include a 2 cc tube of Chip Quik SMD291 no-clean flux to make soldering with them easy. They are also RoHS II and REACH compliant.
