Molex's Wi-Fi triple-band SMT antennas help bring Internet connectivity to places where walls and barriers present a challenge. The antennas use a 900 MHz frequency to penetrate areas of interference. This allows for reduced power consumption and a wider signal range than their 2.4 GHz/5 GHz counterparts.
Offering greater power efficiency and longer-range connectivity to Wi-Fi certified products, the triple-band ceramic antenna enables multi-vendor operability and easy setup for IoT and M2M applications.
The antenna radiator acts as a transducer to convert unguided electromagnetic waves to guided electromagnetic waves and vice versa. The compact, ceramic, surface-mountable antennas can operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +125°C. It is available in frequency ranges of 900 MHz to 924 MHz, 2.4 GHz to 2.5 GHz, and 5.15 GHz to 5.85 GHz.
