Vicotee’s Bifrost series serves as a network manager in the wireless mesh network system, and a gateway between the mesh network and the cloud network/user applications. The complete system consists of sensors and wireless nodes. The radio and networking parts of Vicotee Bifrost gateways are based on the SmartMesh IP™ Dust Network® from Analog Devices. Cloud networking is based on 2.4 GHz 802.11n Wi-Fi or, alternatively, 10/100Base-T Ethernet. Vicotee Bifrost series gateways are powered by an external power supply (included). A SmartMesh IP network consists of a highly scalable self-forming multi-hop mesh of wireless nodes, known as motes, which collect and relay data, and a network manager that monitors and manages network performance and security, and exchanges data with a host application.
