Infineon's KITXMC48IOTAWSWIFITOBO1 is a base kit featuring an XMC4800 MCU and includes connectors in Arduino and Click Board (MikroElektronika) compatible form factors. The XMC4800 devices are a family of microcontrollers based on the Arm® Cortex®-M4 processor core. The MCUs are high performance and energy efficient and are optimized for industrial connectivity, industrial control, power conversion, sense, and control. The microcontrollers offer up to six standard CAN and EtherCAT® connectivities for IoT gateway applications plus many other peripherals.

The kit allows users to connect to cloud services from AWS using the Amazon FreeRTOS software. This kit contains the MCU base board and the Wi-Fi connectivity module, as well as the EtherCAT communication for Industry 4.0 applications.
