ROHM's BM1422AGMV is a 3-axis magnetic sensor that incorporates magneto-impedance (MI) elements and a control IC in a small package to detect weak magnetic fields. The MI sensor features significantly lower current consumption and noise than devices using other conventional technologies, making it suitable not only for standard e-compass applications but for products requiring even higher accuracy as well.
