Littelfuse's SIDACtor PxxxxS4xLRP series component is used to protect equipment such as TV/camera CVBS and/or other low-voltage data communication from damaging overvoltage transients. The series provides a surface mount solution that enables equipment to comply with global regulatory standards.
Overvoltage transients can damage sensitive telecommunications equipment, including composite video blanking sync (CVBS) signal lines and ports. The component combines 6 V operating voltage with 100 A 5 µs / 310 µs surge peak current capability and a low junction capacitance rating to offer robust protection from these transients.
